Privacy Policy

• Business listings. When a laundry owner lists a business, we collect the business name, address, map location, phone and WhatsApp numbers, services, opening hours, prices and description. This information is published publicly — that is the entire purpose of a listing.
• Reviews. When you review a laundry, we collect and publicly display the name you enter, your rating and your comment.
• Approximate location.To show laundries near you, we use your device's location only if you tap “Use my location” and grant permission — it is used in your browser for sorting and never stored by us. We also use a coarse, city-level estimate from your IP address (provided by our hosting platform) to pre-select your city; we do not store this either.
• Pickup requests. If you send a booking or pickup request through the site, we collect the name, phone number, pickup address and notes you provide, and share them with the laundry you chose.
• Technical basics. Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and reliability.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is an essential login cookie for our own site administrators. That is why you don't see a cookie consent banner here — there is nothing to consent to.

• To operate the directory and display listings and reviews.
• To connect customers with laundries (e.g. WhatsApp links).
• To moderate listings and reviews and prevent abuse.
• To respond when you contact us.

We do not sell your information, and we do not run third-party advertising.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site: our hosting platform (Vercel) and database provider (Supabase) process data on our behalf; map images are loaded from OpenStreetMap, whose servers receive standard web requests when the map displays; and if you tap a WhatsApp button, you leave our site and WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply.

Under the NDPA you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information. Business owners can edit their own listing using their manage link, and can ask us to remove their listing entirely. Reviewers can ask us to remove a review they posted. Contact us via the contact page and we'll respond promptly.

We keep listing and review data for as long as it is published on the site, and delete it when a listing or review is removed. The site is served over HTTPS and access to our database is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we deliberately minimise what we collect so there is little to lose.

The site is a business directory and is not directed at children.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and its effective date.
